Yuichiro Noda

Yuichiro Noda
Yuichiro Noda is a photographer whose practice centers on questioning the act of seeing itself. Based in Tokyo after years in London, he expands photography beyond its documentary function, exploring its potential to reveal subtle phenomena such as light, water, air, and time. The works presented here belong to one of Nodaʼs signature ongoing series, focusing on ordinary scenes and encounters discovered in everyday life. Rather than staging images, he seeks new modes of perception within the world as it already exists, transforming familiar subjects into quietly compelling visual experiences.
Recent projects include the publication of his photobook Sequences and aqua, a body of camera- less photogram works. Grounded in both a deep understanding of photographic history and a commitment to experimentation, Nodaʼs practice has attracted growing international attention as a distinctive voice in contemporary photography.
