GALLERY SCENA.は、天王洲・WHAT CAFEにて開催される企画展「WHAT CAFE EXHIBITION vol.46：U40：Emerging Directors & Curators U40」に、髙戸蒼月花による個展ブースにて参加いたします。

GALLERY SCENA. is pleased to participate in “WHAT CAFE EXHIBITION vol.46: U40: Emerging Directors & Curators U40” at WHAT CAFE in Tennoz, presenting a solo booth featuring works by Tsukika Takado.

本展は、アート業界で活躍する40歳以下のギャラリーディレクターおよびキュレーターが、それぞれの視点から選出したアーティストと作品を紹介するグループ展です。計14名のディレクター・キュレーターが1名ずつアーティストを選出し、展示空間を構成します。

This group exhibition brings together gallery directors and curators under the age of 40 who are active in the contemporary art scene. Fourteen directors and curators each present one selected artist, creating a diverse exhibition shaped by their individual perspectives.

Artist

Tsukika Takado

Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1997. Completed the MFA program in Oil Painting, Department of Fine Arts and Crafts, Graduate School of Kyoto University of the Arts in 2022.
Based on both pleasant and unpleasant memories and experiences, she creates paintings that are imbued with various narratives filtered through her own personal perspective. Through this sense of storytelling, the artist moves back and forth between the canvas before them and previously created works, continuing to paint as if extending the story of the paintings themselves.
