We are pleased to announce that GALLERY SCENA. in Jingumae will temporarily close in February 2025 and we will look for a new location.
GALLERY SCENA. will continue as a contemporary art brand of Shukado and will be actively developed in various projects and exhibitions. We look forward to your continued patronage.
We will continue to pursue our own form of contemporary art, keeping abreast of current trends in Japan and around the world.
It will take us some time to decide on the new location, but we will make an announcement as soon as it is decided.
GALLERY SCENA. in Jingumae will be holding solo and group exhibitions of up-and-coming talented artists, as well as exhibitions of muni Art Award Grand Prix winners, “Bijinga vs. realistic painting,” “ART SHODO Edge” to explore new expressions of contemporary calligraphy, and “Dawn of Contemporary Art The “Dawn of Contemporary Art” exhibition, an attempt to explore the origins of contemporary art, and the “Rhyme” exhibition, a collaboration of contemporary art and modern antique art, are just a few examples of the various projects that have been presented to introduce visitors to the new appeal of art.
We will continue to further develop these efforts and will be more ambitious in the future, so please keep your eyes on us.
