Takumi SAITO
Born in Tokyo in 1996, Takumi Saito completed the MFA program in Japanese Painting at Musashino Art University in 2020.
Saito’s practice centers on memories and sensations unexpectedly awakened through everyday scenes and objects. These fleeting impressions and childhood feelings may once have seemed forgotten, yet remain essential to the formation of the self. Through oil and watercolor painting, Saito explores seemingly trivial moments and subtle emotions that quietly resurface within daily life.

Tsukika TAKADO
Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1997. Completed the MFA program in Oil Painting, Department of Fine Arts and Crafts, Graduate School of Kyoto University of the Arts in 2022.
Based on both pleasant and unpleasant memories and experiences, she creates paintings that are imbued with various narratives filtered through her own personal perspective. Through this sense of storytelling, the artist moves back and forth between the canvas before them and previously created works, continuing to paint as if extending the story of the paintings themselves.
