GALLERY SCENA. is pleased to present "37.2℃ skin" a solo exhibition by Ayano Oki.

Ayano Oki is often categorized as a Bijinga painter, but her works are always outside of the box.
The women who appear in her paintings often have bodies intertwined with woman or men expressing intimacy of their relationship.
While grasping the figures with her excellent sketching skills, she dares to ignore their outlines as if the act of painting itself were participating in the actions of the figures.
Rather than painting beautiful women, her interest extends to family and interpersonal relationships, and she is willing to engage in sexual expression.
Her pulsating paintings seem to depict a world of "love" with body warmth.
